I can demonstrate my ability to cite sources through my completed works cited page and use of in-text citations.
4= Above and Beyond- Uses in-text citations and made a works cited page and uses both according to MLA format. Uses more than 3 primary sources and more than 3 secondary sources (at least 2 need to be print materials or academic journals and the other can be a website).
3= Satisfactory- Uses in-text citations and made a works cited page and uses both according to MLA format. Uses 3 primary sources and 3 secondary sources (at least 2 need to be print materials or academic journals and the other can be a website).
2= Emerging- Made an attempt to use in-text citations or make a works cited page, but did so with some mistakes on either the in-text citations or the works cited page. Uses 2 primary and 2 secondary sources (or additional sources are wikipedia or other unacceptable sources such as blogs).
1= Unsatisfactory- Made only a basic attempt to make in-text citations and works cited or does not follow MLA format. Both in-text citations and works cited has mistake. Uses only 1 primary and 1 secondary source (or additional sources are wikipedia or other unacceptable sources such as blogs).
0= Unacceptable- Did not use in-text citations or make a works cited page at all. Uses no primary or secondary sources or sources are wikipedia or other unacceptable sources such as blogs.
